Stuard Elementary School has a new aluminum can recycling program. All of the proceeds from the cans will stay at Stuard Elementary School. The funds will help with the beautician and environmental causes at the school.
The can drives will be every first Friday of the month. Stuard's next can drive will be Friday, December 7 between 7:15-7:45 am. There will be "green team" members in the carpool lane to retrieve your cans.
Last month was the first month the "green team" held the can drive. The results were great. Even though we only had enough cans to fill the back of a Prius (literally) we came away with $16! The "green team" is hopeful that with each month, participation will continue to grow. This is such a great way to contribute to a cleaner environment and earn some extra "green" along the way. Thank you for your participation.
